Shayley Timm is a Wisconsin-born, Seattle-based artist who graduated from Cornish College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in December, 2018. She studied Graham and Release Technique at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance; practiced contemporary dance for nineteen years; and is experienced in ballet, hip hop, choreography, Pilates, writing, nutrition and design. She has created and performed in Wisconsin, Florida, London, Chicago and Seattle and has been featured in original pieces by Wade Madsen, Michelle Miller and Alicia Mullikan. Other achievements include various scholarships as well as an Outstanding Dancer Award in 2017.
Currently participating in dance festivals around Seattle, Shayley supplements her dance training with Pilates and classes at ZUM. She lives on Capitol Hill with her partner, John-Paul, and hopes to pursue a career in commercial dance.
